SignCoders' venture-building studio

Accessible products,
built by deaf founders.

Thrive Studio is SignCoders' venture-building studio. We build six products on one shared team, technology, and go-to-market engine – from a smart-cube app to live captioning to a sign-language avatar. Not every one is an accessibility product, but all are built by the same deaf-led team and engine, and for us accessibility is never a feature bolted on afterward.

What this studio is

We don't ship projects. We launch products on one shared engine, and we stay with them.

Across 6 years of community and institutional work, SignCoders kept finding the same thing: a lack of accessibility isn't a small bug, it's a product decision. Thrive Studio exists to make that decision upfront – with a shared team, technology, and go-to-market engine.

  1. Accessibility is the starting point

We don't bolt on captions and contrast at the end. Accessibility is in the product's first draft, so it never costs extra money or a separate sprint.

  2. Deaf-led, with 6 years of institutional trust

The studio is led by deaf professionals. We don't know the problem from user research – we know it from 6 years of community and institutional work we run into ourselves, every day.

  3. One shared engine, not standalone projects

We don't deliver one-off projects. One shared team, technology base, and partner network carries all six products forward, and we set the ones that work up to stand on their own.

  4. Decision gates

No product gets an automatic green light. Every phase has an exit point: only proven user and paying signal carries a product through to the next gate.

The portfolio

Six products, one shared engine.

Most start from the same question: where does someone who can't hear lose time, safety, or information? CubeMate is already in the stores, MeetCaption proves itself next – after that, the portfolio moves forward gate by gate, based on the evidence.

LiveConsumer app · Smart cubes

CubeMate

A companion app for Bluetooth smart cubes: live 3D mirror, solver, WCA timer and duels – on iOS and Android.

  • Available on the App Store and Google Play
  • Live 1v1 duels and a daily challenge
  • 13 languages, for beginner and advanced cubers

Works with Xiaomi, GAN, Giiker, MoYu, QiYi and GoCube cubes. The guides can be used without a smart cube.

How we work

Five decision gates protect focus and capital.

The order isn't decoration: every gate has an exit point. A product only moves forward on proven user and paying signal – and if it doesn't get through a gate, we count that as a result too.

  1. 01

    Problem

A real, urgent barrier the affected community flags, or one we run into ourselves at our institutional partners. We write down who it affects and what it costs them.

  2. 02

    MVP

A usable minimum version with a clear value proposition and measurable use. If we can't show it within a few weeks, the question isn't sharp enough yet.

  3. 03

    Paying pilot

Real customers pay for use. Willingness to buy, value to the decision-maker, and the procurement path decide whether the product moves forward.

  4. 04

    Scale

Repeatable sales, a standard package – and the shared team, technology, and go-to-market engine that does the work again for every one of the six products.

  5. 05

    Spin-out

The proven product gets its own team, customer contracts, and funding plan. The studio stays behind it, but no longer carries it.

The team

There are five of us, and we all build.

A small core team with clear ownership. Nothing in the studio gets decided by guessing on our users' behalf.
